Dear All,

Here is a sad statistic for the last 6 months:
Program A302 was downloaded for free 2,304 times – but only 7 friendly people purchased a CD copy to support TUC Radio.

In October 2007 I made it even easier to download programs from this site. I encouraged visitors to take freely but to please send a donation in return. But in these 6 months only 31 visitors sent donations ranging from $10 to $1,500. Thanks to each one of you. You gave $4,660 (that includes the March 08 donations to the solar fund) Those who ordered CDs gave $650 for the new programs of this season. Had there not been sales of archival programs TUC Radio would have gone under.

Every day, on average, 100 programs are downloaded for free. I'm proud to see that so many enjoy my work.
BUT - I DO NEED TO HAVE YOUR SUPPORT IN RETURN

PLEASE help me keep this site free. I know that many of you thought that surely somebody else was going to support TUC and just needed to see the numbers to be inspired to give as well. You will make a difference if you donate, join the ten subscribers who are sending a monthly donation of $10 or $25, mail checks, part of your tax rebate, or money orders.

NEW SEASON 2007/08

For the first time this season I'm offering not just BROADCAST QUALITY mp3s but also LOWBAND VERSIONS of all recent programs that will stream on a phone line. I'm making it easier to download and I'm encouraging listeners to take the programs for free. Postage and material have gone up. It is easier on the earth as well to just download and easier for you to forward the programs to friends.

But I must have your support in return. Please take freely and remember to support TUC and me! (At the current rate of donations I'm living off only $11,600 a year.)

And of course those among you who can't handle electronic files - please order CDs as before and I will be happy to continue to amaze the clerks at the post office by the many different addresses I'm shipping to.
